Responsibilities Assist project manager to ensure proper timelines and all requirements are met for all projects. Help with billing, change orders, collections, etc. to ensure timely completion. Keep the management staff up to date on all project issues. Review job cost, job status, manpower and change order reports to provide analysis on a monthly basis with the project manager/project management team. Attend regular/monthly job cost reviews to accurately reflect project profitability and status of all project issues. Communicate and troubleshoot with project manager, project superintendents, construction managers and General Contractors. Communicate effectively with all project managers, administrative assistants and other departments through meetings, memos, e-mails, etc. Assist with coordination of proper manpower and equipment for each job. Conduct/attend weekly job‑site visits and job meetings. Assist with proper job setup and contract review to ensure that estimated costs and schedule of values are done in a timely and accurate manner. Generate project manager reports and attend project management meetings as appropriate. Track submittals, generate purchase orders and negotiate subcontracts and purchases for each project. Perform any other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience Minimum of 5 years mechanical industry experience and/or related educational background. Ability to read and interpret blueprints. Knowledge of general plumbing and piping installation. Good math ability and general accounting skills. Detail oriented. Strong organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Minimum of High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Physical Requirements Able to walk job sites. Capable of climbing on/off equipment and ladders. Education High School Diploma or GED equivalent (high school or better). Experience 5 years mechanical industry experience. Licenses & Certifications Valid driver's license.
