Overview We are currently looking for daytime Team Members for mostly weekdays and some weekends if available. Responsibilities As a Store Team Member at Pet Supplies Plus, you’ll provide exceptional, neighborly service to customers and their pets. Key duties include: Helping customers select appropriate pet products. Reviewing ingredient labels for pet food and answering questions about nutrition. Fitting pets with harnesses or accessories. Educating owners on pet care and product use. Stocking shelves, replenishing merchandise, and restocking bins. Ring up purchases accurately. Maintaining a clean, welcoming store environment. Providing basic care for pets on display (feeding, cleaning habitats). Assisting with special promotions and membership information. Specializations Cashier Process customer purchases with accuracy and efficiency. Provide information about the Preferred Pet Club membership. Stocker Safely unload delivery trucks using proper equipment. Stock shelves and ensure items are accessible. Transport merchandise to customers’ cars if needed. Pet Care Care for pets in store, including feeding, cleaning habitats, and handling animals. Answer questions about animal care and provide guidance. Candidate Requirements Be knowledgeable about pets and products to provide outstanding service. Demonstrate flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Pass a drug screening (in applicable states) and be 16 years or older. Physical ability to lift 40–65 lbs. and stand for long periods. Support team members by acting as backup when extra help is needed.
