Shipping & Logistics Lead – Supply Chain Operations Brighton, Michigan

The Role

The Shipping & Logistics Lead is responsible for leading outbound shipping operations and supporting the end-to-end flow of materials across the facility.

This role ensures all materials are prepared, documented, and shipped accurately, compliantly, and on schedule, while supporting overall material flow within the operation

You will play a key role in maintaining audit readiness, supporting production continuity, and partnering cross-functionally across Quality, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead compliant outbound shipping operations
• Prepare, package, and document shipments in alignment with regulatory requirements
• Coordinate with carriers and ensure on-time delivery
• Maintain audit-ready shipping records
• Support receiving, inventory flow, and material movement
• Partner with Quality, Operations, and Customer teams
• Contribute to process improvements as operations scale

What You Bring

• 3+ years in shipping, logistics, or warehouse operations
• Experience in regulated environments preferred
• Strong attention to detail and compliance mindset
• Ability to be organized and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting
• Experience with hazardous materials shipping (or willingness to obtain certification)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (more with assistance)
• Standing/walking for extended periods
• Forklift experience preferred
