JOB SUMMARY:

  • Working with the Tobacco Cessation team, the Marketing team, and the Strategic Operations Managers, the Public Health Intern supports the daily tobacco cessation and health promotion efforts across all of Hancock County.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Assists with program

  • Displays proficiency in the operation of the facility’s computer hardware and software systems
  • Completes CBL’s (computer based learning modules) without supervision
  • Is knowledgeable and aware of current information on all Tobacco Cessation programs, services, and activities, and promotes them regularly
  • Maintains high level of professionalism, in accordance with organizational standards of behavior
  • Attends all scheduled employee meetings
  • Maintain all annual education requirements (CBL’s) and BLS/CPR.
