A regional healthcare system in Western Missouri is seeking a Maternity Nurse Supervisor to help lead a dynamic, high-acuity maternity program within a 150+ bed hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a nurse leader who enjoys a fast-paced environment and wants to play a key role in shaping both patient outcomes and team culture.
In this position, you’ll oversee a full spectrum of maternity services, including Labor and Delivery, antepartum, postpartum, and newborn care. The unit is equipped with modern technology such as wireless fetal monitoring and advanced surgical capabilities for cesarean deliveries, allowing you to support safe, efficient, and patient-centered care from admission through recovery. This role also offers the chance to lead process improvement initiatives and implement evidence-based practices that enhance maternal and neonatal outcomes.
Working alongside an experienced Director of Women’s Services, you’ll partner with a multidisciplinary team that includes OB hospitalists, anesthesia providers, pediatric and neonatal specialists, educators, and support services. This role is highly collaborative and gives you the opportunity to influence clinical practice, mentor staff, and drive improvements in quality and patient experience. The organization is known for its supportive leadership, strong clinical standards, and commitment to continuous improvement. Nurses here are encouraged to have a voice, contribute ideas, and grow professionally within a culture that prioritizes both accountability and respect.
Outside of work, the location offers a great balance of activity and relaxation. With access to outdoor recreation, seasonal events, and a welcoming community atmosphere, it’s an ideal setting for both professional and personal fulfillment. Convenient travel options also make it easy to stay connected beyond the region.
This position offers a competitive compensation package including base salary, incentives, comprehensive health benefits, retirement contributions, paid time off, parental leave, tuition reimbursement, and opportunities for career advancement.
