Responsibilities Schedule and conduct on‑site high‑value property surveys. Manage work assignments and complete web‑based reports on your own schedule. Visit properties, take photos, take measurements, and note issues for underwriters. Interact professionally over the phone, via email, and in person with homeowners and insurance agents. Drive to and conduct property surveys according to customer guidelines. Identify construction materials, characteristics, and unique features. Obtain measurements of the home and other structures. Generate an estimated replacement value and identify major hazards. Communicate findings via Loss Control 360 on the Signature website. Requirements and Tools Needed Prior underwriting or inspection experience on residential homes is desirable. Loss control experience desirable. Experience in Insurance Adjusting, Home Appraisals, Real Estate or Construction is a plus; experience using Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or other diagramming programs is helpful. Strong oral and written communication skills. Professionalism. Construction experience desired but not required. BA or BS degree desired but not required. Must have a smartphone, tablet, and personal computer. Reliable vehicle with Auto and General Liability Insurance. High‑speed internet, digital or smartphone camera (16mp+), and measuring devices such as laser, strap tape, or wheel. Position Details Work from home office.
