Position Summary:

This position is responsible for ensuring the proper farm placement of the workers on the 2nd shift, inputting accurate container counts, maintaining proper harvester workmanship, proper separation of containers and order fulfillment. Daily reporting to Harvesting Director is required.

Qualifications and Education Requirements :

  • Education: Must be able to read and write in Spanish and/or English
  • Experience with training is preferred.
  • Experience in mushroom harvesting is preferred.

Role and Responsibilities :

  • Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate with Harvesting Management with requests for days off.
  • Must get an actual count the containers and enter the information accurately in the I-Harvest tablets.
  • Prior to taking a lunch, must make sure all containers are out of the house.
  • Must review all the containers for workmanship and in-weights. Extraneous material, sizing, miscuts, etc.
  • Houses need to be checked prior to moving to the next house to ensure proper harvesting procedures have been followed.
  • Must understand and enforce company safety and food safety standards.
  • Must arrive at least 15 minutes before the harvester start time to get the mushroom orders and prepare harvesting area.
  • Mushroom containers are being separated and stacked according to grade and size.
  • Needs to immediately report to Harvesting Management any social or physical issues with the team.
  • Make sure picking tickets are put into each container except for the opens.
  • Responsible for making sure all orders are complete.

Este puesto es responsable de garantizar la correcta colocación agrícola de los trabajadores en el segundo turno, introducir conteos precisos de contenedores, mantener la mano de obra adecuada de las cosechadoras, la separación adecuada de los contenedores y el cumplimiento de pedidos. Es obligatorio informar diariamente al Director de Cosecha.

Calificaciones y requisitos de educación:

Funciones y responsabilidades:

  • Mantener registros de asistencia precisos y comunicarse con la gerencia de cosecha para solicitar días libres.
  • Obtener el conteo real de los contenedores e ingresar la información con precisión en las tabletas I-Harvest.
  • Antes de tomar el almuerzo, asegurarse de que todos los contenedores estén fuera del área.
  • Revisar todos los contenedores en cuanto a calidad de trabajo y peso adecuado (material extraño, tamaño, cortes incorrectos, etc.).
  • Verificar cada área antes de pasar a la siguiente para asegurar que se hayan seguido los procedimientos adecuados de cosecha.
  • Comprender y hacer cumplir las normas de seguridad de la empresa y de seguridad alimentaria.
  • Llegar al menos 15 minutos antes del inicio de la cosecha para recibir los pedidos de champiñones y preparar el área de trabajo.
  • Asegurar que los contenedores de champiñones estén separados y apilados según grado y tamaño.
  • Reportar inmediatamente a la gerencia de cosecha cualquier problema social o físico dentro del equipo.
  • Asegurarse de que los boletos de recolección se coloquen en cada contenedor, excepto en los abiertos.
  • Ser responsable de garantizar que todos los pedidos estén completos.
