Jersey City, NJION Markets – Client Support /Full-time /On-siteThe Role:The Desktop and Security Administrator is responsible for delivering high-quality desktop support while owning the full lifecycle management of all Dash-managed end-user devices. This individual ensures that endpoints are deployed, configured, secured, monitored, and retired according to firm standards.Dash Financial Technologies is a leading provider of advanced trading solutions, specializing in order routing applications. Our mission is to empower our clients with control, insight, and results through innovative trading solutions.The Desktop and Security Administrator is responsible for assisting with reducing operational risk and improving efficiency by ensuring all Dash end-user devices and access environments are secure, standardized, and well-managed. Key Responsibilities:Provide onsite and remote desktop support to all Dash personnelOwn and manage the full lifecycle of end-user devices (procurement, configuration, deployment, patching, monitoring, inventory management, and secure disposal)Implement and enforce technical controls for endpoints in alignment with security policies and regulatory standardsConfigure and support Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations across third-party applicationsAssist Security team with audits, remediation efforts, and security-related initiativesPartner with Network Engineering on office network projects and firewall/security policy coordinationRequired Skills, Experience and Qualifications:5+ years of experience in desktop support and endpoint administrationExperience supporting both Windows and MacOS environmentsStrong experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM) platformsExperience developing and implementing endpoint policies and compliance controlsExperience managing Identity and Access Management platformsExperience implementing and managing Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) solutionsExperience troubleshooting endpoint issues including:Network connectivity and VPNHardware and peripheralsSaaS application accessExperience managing device asset lifecycle and inventory controlsFamiliarity with security tools such as SIEM, VPN, Privileged Access Management, and Server EDRWorking knowledge of networking concepts and firewall security policies preferredKnowledge of Linux-based desktop environments preferredCore Competencies:Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skillsAbility to own processes end-to-end with minimal oversightClear and effective communication skillsStrong documentation habits and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHigh level of integrity and commitment to security best practicesOther Duties:Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
