Position: Café Barista

Department: Lion & Lamb Café

Reports To: Debi Baker

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Mission:

To assist TRBC in its mission of changing the world by developing Christ followers who love God and love people.

Job Goal:

The Café Barista will perform various duties to help the flow of customer service. The Café Barista will also, at times, be responsible for bank deposits, health department record keeping, preparing food, etc.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Prepare brewed coffee, espresso drinks, tea & smoothies
• Prepare/grill sandwiches, hot dogs, cookies, etc.
• Cash out customers using IPad/Square, make bank deposits
• Restock snacks, bottled drinks, condiments, and other food items
• Restock paper products and supplies
• Record temperature checks for the Health Department
• Clean café and storage areas as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be at least 16 years old
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.
• Available to work on Sundays (usually every other)

Skills:

• Able to receive cash and make change

• Able to work independently as well with others
• Self-motivated
• Have excellent customer service skills
