About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Executive Officer to lead its mission of providing high-quality training and employment opportunities for individuals with disabilities. The successful candidate will be a visionary and community-minded leader, responsible for strategic planning, vision communication, and fostering board partnerships. The CEO will also be a strong advocate for the inclusion of individuals with disabilities, working to shift public attitudes and promote their contributions in the workplace. Financial oversight, general administration, and ensuring compliance with all standards and requirements are essential aspects of the role. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a Master’s degree in a relevant field and a minimum of 10 years of successful management experience, particularly in the vocational rehabilitation or human services sector. Core competencies include financial literacy, technical knowledge of vocational rehabilitation, and a leadership style that is both strong and participatory. The role requires excellent communication skills, personal attributes of high integrity, and a commitment to the values of respect, integrity, teamwork, excellence, and advocacy. The CEO will also be responsible for team leadership, relationship development, and fund development, working with the Board to implement fundraising plans.
