Position Summary:The Assistant Basketball Coach provides support to the head Coach in managing and developing the activities of the college athletic team. The Assistant Coach’s main function is to assist with practice planning, develop student-athletes’ skills, promoting academic success, and fostering teamwork and sportsmanship.

Minimum Qualifications:Must have relevant previous coaching experience at a high school or college.
Wok Environment:Incumbents typically perform their work in offices and athletic facilities. The work does not, normally, involve significant physical effort. However, incumbents may actively participate in physical fitness and athletic training, and they may accompany students on athletic competition trips. Incumbents also may travel to regional or central meetings and conferences. Reasonable accommodation will be made for incumbents and candidates with physical limitations. Salary:$7,011 (season)
