Warehouse Material Handler

Position Title: Warehouse Material Handler / Forklift Driver

Reports To: Purchasing Supervisor

The Packaging Warehouse Material Handler, is required to handle the day-to-day inventory responsibilities, in support of other organizational functions. This position reports to the facility Purchasing Supervisor.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Unload/load delivery trucks with electric forklift
• Load supply trailers with forklift and/or physical material handling
• Perform cycle counting and other daily paperwork
• Follow the instructions of the Purchasing Manager / Purchasing Supervisor
• Meet deadlines for completion of the delegated tasks
• Proper storage and handling of the received stock
• Ensure cleanliness and proper organization of the warehouse
• Place tags and labels on the inventory stock
• Coordinate with team members and other internal departments
• First Shift (6:00am to 2:30pm), possible overtime available
• Must be available for weekend shifts

Skills and Specifications

• Must possess strong computer skills
• Forklift experience a must
• SAP experience a plus
• Must possess the ability to repetitively lift and carry boxes up to 60#
• Ability to manage time efficiently and effectively
• Should possess the skills of being a good team worker, self-starter and able to work with minimal supervision
• Good interpersonal skills for interacting with other departments
• Must possess good mathematical, statistical and analytical abilities

Education and Qualifications

Warehousing experience a plus

Forklift operator experience a must
