Tryst Hotels is hiring a traveling tile and flooring installer to work across renovation projects in multiple U.S. hotel locations. This role includes installing and repairing a range of flooring materials in guest rooms, bathrooms, bars, restaurants, and common spaces. You should be comfortable moving between jobsites, working with different materials, and maintaining quality in hospitality settings where finish appearance matters. Key Responsibilities Install tile, laminate, LVP, hardwood, and other flooring materials as needed Prepare substrates, level surfaces, and complete layout work Perform demolition and replacement of damaged flooring systems Install transitions, trim pieces, and finishing details Handle flooring repairs and punch-list items on remodel projects Coordinate with plumbing, drywall, and carpentry trades to maintain workflow Follow manufacturer specs and installation best practices Keep work areas clean, safe, and ready for turnover Qualifications Proven experience with tile and/or flooring installation Ability to work with multiple flooring systems in renovation environments Strong finish quality and attention to visual detail Comfortable traveling for two-to-three-week project stretches Open to varied schedules and deadline-driven work Respectful and fully comfortable working in LGBTQ+ centered hospitality venues Ability to lift materials, stand for long periods, and work with installation tools Hospitality or commercial renovation experience preferred Pay and Benefits Pay: $35-$40/hour, depending on experience. Full-time W-2 position. Year-round pay structure, including paid travel rotations, company-arranged flights and hotels, paid meals while traveling, Medical and dental 401(k) Paid time off.
