Job Description
We are looking to hire a sushi helper to assist with to-go sushi production.
No experience required. We will train!
Sushi helper's duties and responsibilities:
Prepare all sushi ingredients for daily prep, including washing, chopping & slicing vegetables, mixing crab meats, thawing frozen items, cooking sushi rice & potstickers.
Make spring rolls and a variety of sushi rolls.
Maintain a clean and sanitary sushi station.
Sushi helper's requirements and qualifications:
Excellent self-motivation and ability to work unsupervised.
Strong multi-tasking and organizational skills.
Valid food handler's permit.
Teamwork, positive attitudes, and willingness to learn
Commitment to learning sushi making in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
Be able to work in a standing position for a long period of time.
Stock and arrange frozen and dry food inventory.
