Itentails supplier source selection, contractadministration and purchase order placement insupport of any of the following programs: F-35,C-130, F-16 and F-22. Duties include:documentation and interface with functionalorganizations. Prepares bid packages, conductsbidders' briefings, analyzes, andevaluates proposals, negotiates subcontractprovisions, selects, or recommendssubcontractors, writes awards, and administersresulting subcontracts. Procurement of build toprint detail parts and assemblies fromengineering drawings in support of variousaircraft programs (C-130, F-35, F-16 and F-22). Willhelp develop solutions for complex problemswhich require ingenuity and innovation.Understands the procurement activity under theguidance of the Federal Acquisition Regulation(FAR) and Defense Federal AcquisitionRegulation Supplement (DFARS). Some travelmay be required. Monday &Tuesday on site.This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor's Degree - Experience in Built-to-Print Supply Chain, Procurement, Buyer and/or Subcontract Management- Ability to work efficiently in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint and Word) Strong data analysis, problem-solving and communication skillsDesired Skills:* Experience with multi-tasking, following-up andseeing assignments through to completion* Detail oriented having the ability to workindependently with minimal supervision* Experience in making business based decisions and critical thinking* Knowledge and experience buying under theguidelines of the FAR/DFAR and other acquisition policies and procedures* Ability to understand technical requirements, drawings, manufacturing processes, etc. for build-to-print parts* Demonstrated performance being proactive, customer service oriented, engaged with team, collaborative and accountable* Excellent team player, ability to coach, train and review others work. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed.
