Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of proven Management and Leadership experience in a service, retail, or beauty industry environment leading a team of 5+ employees is required.
  • College degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • Demonstrated sales experience in a commission-based setting.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to identify root causes and proposed solutions.
  • The ability to motivate, inspire, coach and lead by example.
  • Strong organizational, task management, and delegation skills.
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal).
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite and experience with POS.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train, and supervise employees like Guest Service Associates (our front-of-house team) and Wax Specialists in customer service, sales, and quality of service.
  • Meet sales goals by training, motivating, mentoring, and providing feedback to the team through daily coaching.
  • Develop and foster an inspiring high-performance culture where people love coming to work.
  • Build the business through effective scheduling and by spearheading our retention strategy to exceed our guests’ expectations. 
  • Proactively de-escalate any unsatisfied issues and train the team on opportunities.
  • Assess business analytics and drive key performance metrics through action planning and leveraging team strengths. 
  • Complete administrative tasks such as payroll and inventory in a timely manner and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Conduct personnel performance appraisals to assess training needs and build career paths.
  • Maintain outstanding cleanliness and visual merchandising standards.
  • Additional management duties as needed.
