Job Description

The Shuttle Services Manager is responsible for managing all functions associated with the transportation department for assigned locations. Responsibilities include creating routes, hiring, training, supervising transportation associates, maintaining equipment, ensuring compliance with transportation requirements, record keeping, and providing exceptional hospitality services to guests. Responsibilities Ensures that the guest service experience is delivered consistently on all shifts. Regularly performs guest/patient service duties including shuttle services. Efficiently allocates labor resources to support service delivery and reduces staffing levels if business conditions dictate. Understands the client’s service standards and integrates Towne Park’s standards to complement them. Maintains accuracy and composure while under pressure to effectively handle guest/patient complaints and difficult situations. Maintains detailed knowledge of the client’s facility, including outlets, meeting rooms, amenities, main attractions, parking rates and other pertinent information. Promotes a teamwork philosophy through leading by example and effective communication skills. Partners with Transportation and Safety teams to ensure compliance with state and local DOT rules, regulations, and CDL requirements. Utilizes fleet management tools such as Element Fleet Management and Samsara Telematics to ensure proper maintenance, timely registration, route building, safety protocols, and daily vehicle inspections. Actively engages in recruitment and hiring processes to select the best people for the location; fosters an environment that retains talented associates. Responds proactively to associate feedback and suggestions, including satisfaction surveys and exit interviews; ensures new associates receive proper orientation and on-the-job training. Recognizes top performers, provides opportunities for growth, conducts performance appraisals, holds effective associate meetings, and ensures shift huddles occur each shift. Develops cohesive working relationships with client staff, maintains regular meetings, follows through on commitments, maintains high visibility at the site, and focuses on exceeding client expectations. Capitalizes on opportunities to grow Towne Park’s business by building client loyalty and creating advocates for the company. Understands and drives business metrics for forecasting, productivity, claims, customer service, and turnover; ensures accurate revenue collection and reporting. Supervises reconciliation of revenue and tickets at the end of every shift; ensures controls for scheduling, overtime, tip reporting, and timekeeping. Effectively utilizes standardized business systems developed by Towne Park and ensures compliance with policies and procedures. The total amount of time for all functions of the job is 100%. Qualifications Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Licensure/Certification: CDL License with Passenger Endorsement preferred; completion of Towne Park Wheelchair Safety Training required. Experience: One to three months of related experience and/or training; equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable. Must be able to drive a manual transmission. Customer service experience preferred. At least three years of commercial driving experience or nine years of driving experience as a licensed driver. Knowledge: Shuttle management; understanding of 24‑hour and military time systems; knowledge of applicable rates. Skills: Read and write standard English; communicate via telephone or radio in English; understand and complete driver trip sheets and vehicle logs; perform basic arithmetic with currency and measurements; present information in one‑on‑one and small group settings; read, understand, and complete inter‑office communications, schedules, maps, and other documents. Compensation & Benefits Annual base pay range: $85,000. Eligible for annual incentive bonuses based on classification and policy. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, accident, critical illness, hospital indemnity, telemedicine, company‑paid basic life and AD&D, short‑term and long‑term disability, 401(k) retirement plan, accrued paid time off, 6 paid holidays, and up to 4 paid floating holidays.
