About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Executive Director in Medicinal Chemistry to lead the strategic and scientific direction of small molecule discovery programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving innovative compound design, guiding intellectual property development, and partnering with computational chemistry to enable design workflows. This role also involves interpreting data packages from various studies to advance candidates, as well as collaborating with global research teams to identify scientific solutions and troubleshoot program challenges. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D. in a chemistry-related field, extensive leadership experience in medicinal chemistry, and a proven track record in driving small-molecule programs through the discovery process. Applicants for the Senior Executive Director position in Medicinal Chemistry at the company should have a Ph.D. in a chemistry-related field with substantial industry experience, or an equivalent leadership background. Deep expertise in synthetic organic chemistry and modern medicinal chemistry principles is essential, as is familiarity with computational modeling, in vitro biology, DMPK, and in vivo pharmacology.
