Your Day-to-Day as a Security Officer with Us: - Respect for the authority of base and command officers by promptly and professionally complying with their direction.
- Thoroughly control access to restricted areas in a professional and courteous manner.
- Report all irregular activity immediately (safety hazards, violations, criminal activity, sleepers, and panhandlers).
- Work closely with other law enforcement agencies when required to maintain law and order.

To Be Successful as a Security Officer, You'll Need: - A valid New York State Driver's License.
- A High School Diploma or Equivalency.
- Ability to obtain and maintain applicable certifications.
- Ability to work under stressful and time-sensitive requirements.
- Ability to stand/walk for long periods of time and lift up to 61 - 70 pounds.
