Job Description

Success Academy Charter Schools, Inc., a network of high-performing public charter schools in New York City, is seeking a School Year 26-27 High School Teacher to join our Education, Training & E-Learning team. In this role, you will provide rigorous, engaging instruction that prepares scholars for college and life, while contributing to an innovative and results-driven school culture. You will design and deliver standards-aligned lessons in your subject area, using data and frequent assessment to drive instruction and ensure that every student is meeting—and exceeding—ambitious academic goals. You will create a structured, joyful classroom environment that promotes high expectations, strong student discourse, and deep conceptual understanding. Collaborating closely with instructional leaders and colleagues, you will participate in regular coaching, lesson study, and professional development to continuously refine your practice and adopt groundbreaking educational methods. You will communicate consistently with families about student progress and partner with them to support learning beyond the classroom. As a High School Teacher at Success Academy, you will integrate technology and digital learning tools to enhance instruction, differentiate for diverse learners, and support English language learners and students with special needs in accordance with their plans. You will contribute to curriculum development, assessment design, and school-wide initiatives aimed at improving student outcomes and closing achievement gaps. Beyond the classroom, you will help build a vibrant school community by advising students, supporting extracurricular programs or clubs, and modeling the core values of excellence, accountability, and teamwork.
