The SAP FICO / SAP HANA Consultant will support finance operations within the Airlines industry, providing expertise across SAP FICO modules and SAP HANA. The consultant will implement finance processes, integrate solutions across SAP modules, ensure compliance with financial controls, and support transformation initiatives that enhance reporting accuracy and operational efficiency. Key Responsibilities Work extensively across SAP FICO modules including GL, AR, AP, AA, BA, CEA, CCA, PCA, IO, and TR. Analyze and implement finance processes aligned with industry standards and regulatory guidelines. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate FICO solutions with other SAP modules and business functions. Support finance transformation initiatives and continuous improvement projects. Ensure compliance with internal controls, audit requirements, and financial policies. Lead configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP FICO modules tailored to business needs. Provide expert troubleshooting for complex financial transactions and system issues. Prepare detailed functional documentation and training materials. Liaise with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Monitor system performance and implement enhancements to optimize finance operations. Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree with 12+ years of experience in SAP FICO and SAP HANA. Must have Airlines industry experience. Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP FICO modules. Strong experience with GL, AR, AP, AA, BA, CEA, CCA, PCA, IO, and TR. Experience implementing finance processes aligned with industry standards. Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder communication skills. Proven experience leading configuration, testing, and deployment activities. Preferred Qualifications Experience with finance transformation initiatives. Experience conducting user training and developing training materials. Experience optimizing SAP FICO performance on SAP HANA platforms.
