Job Description

Job Summary Join the Pediatric Clinical Research Coordination team to support clinical research across multiple divisions in the Department of Pediatrics. This research nurse will coordinate a variety of clinical research studies, including recruitment, screening, enrollment, and ensure protocol compliance. Key Responsibilities Main point of contact and liaison to participants, investigators, sponsors, and the research team for study information. Recruit, screen, and enroll study participants and families. Collect, verify, and enter data into the database and analyze clinical information. Serve as primary contact for emergent participant situations related to adverse effects or complications. Supervise day‑to‑day activities of the research work unit. Provide expertise, training, and guidance to staff, community, peers, and/or students. Secure and schedule logistics for clinical research projects according to the research plan. Assist recruitment and screening of subjects by performing physical health assessments. Provide professional nursing care to patients according to established protocols. Provide appropriate treatment plan direction and information to study participants. Employment Details This position is full or part‑time, 90%–100%. Some work may be performed in‑person at a designated campus location and some remotely. Position is a position of trust with access to vulnerable populations and requires a caregiver check every four years. Applicants must have continuous eligibility to work in the United States and will be required to provide proof of such eligibility. Required Qualifications Minimum 1 year of experience in a clinical setting. Bachelor’s Degree in nursing. Registered Nurse (RN) license required by start date. Preferred Qualifications Minimum 2 years of nursing experience. Experience working in a clinical research role. Experience with pediatric population. Experience with research data collection and/or sample processing. Proficiency with Health Link, electronic medical records, Microsoft Office, REDCap, OnCore, Google Drive. Clinical Research Certification or Nursing certification such as CCRP, CCRC, CCRA, or ACRP‑CP. Compensation and Benefits Salary range: $72,500 to $90,000, based on experience and qualifications.
