Production Operator

Ocilla, GA | $11.50 / hour

We are searching for a production operator to ensure smooth and proper manufacturing of our product. You will be supporting the overall operations of the Tifton plant. This includes performing your duties in a plant environment. You will be exposed to elements such as odor, noise, dust, heat, cold, or chemicals.

Responsibilities

• Blend and mix raw materials to create a final product
• Climb ladder to get inside of tank to neutralize it for the next batch of chemicals
• Review specification sheet to ensure all raw materials are available and ready for use
• Prepare documentation to support use of raw materials
• Prepare pallet ticket for finished product
• Report any damaged material
• Complete proper paperwork
• Follow through with cleanup of your work station
• Aid other employees and the manager in additional duties

Requirements

• Lift and move up to 100lbs
• Minimum age 18
• Clean drug screen
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to climb inside of a tank
• Stand for long periods of time
• Comfortable with heights and enclosed spaces
• Wear and maintain proper PPE including a respirator
• Be physically agile
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
• Be able to convert US standards to metrics
• Have good reading and writing skills in English
• Work well with others and individually
• Be able to work overtime when required, including weekends and holidays
• Be clean shaven

Location: Ocilla, Georgia

Pay: $11.50 / hour

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 pm – 7:30 am, 2, 2, 3 schedule. 12 hour shifts
