Job Description
Physical Therapist (PT) is a licensed healthcare professional who evaluates, diagnoses, and treats individuals with physical impairments, injuries, or mobility limitations. The goal is to improve movement, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability.
Key Responsibilities
Perform initial patient evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
Assess strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and functional abilities
Provide therapeutic exercises to improve mobility and strength
Use techniques such as:
Manual therapy
Stretching and strengthening exercises
Gait and balance training
Educate patients and caregivers on:
Injury prevention
Home exercise programs
Safe mobility techniques
Monitor and document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, and other healthcare
