Fern Ridge School District has an opening for
1.0 FTE Physical Education/Health Teacher at Fern Ridge Middle School . Position will teach both Physical Education and Health. Health endorsement highly preferred.
Qualifications: The successful candidate will hold the appropriate license endorsement(s) allowing you to teach physical education to middle school students in the State of Oregon and demonstrate knowledge of best practices in teaching. Must also be willing to provide evidence of compliance with all Oregon Health Authority requirements for school employees.
Responsibilities: Work towards creating a vibrant learning community for our students. Implement state standards and provide instruction that promotes all skill development, knowledge and reasoning.
Use a variety of assessments to inform instruction and create an environment that maximizes student learning. Model and teach respect with an awareness of diversity and perform other duties as assigned.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a commitment to providing excellence for every student so that each will reach their greatest potential.

Benefit Details: Salary Range: $45,862 - $88,064 - depending on education and experience.
