About the Position

Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Location: Minnesota

Schedule: On site Wednesday, 8 hours. Remote coverage 7 hours per week, timing flexible.

Position Overview

• Provide psychiatric care in a residential treatment setting for pediatric and adolescent patients.
• Responsibilities include evaluations, admissions support, treatment planning, medication management, and crisis and safety assessment as needed.
• Patient ages referenced: 8 to 14.
• Charting system: Welligent.

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO.
• Board certified in Psychiatry with Child and Adolescent focus.
• Active Minnesota medical license.
• DEA as required for prescribing.
• Credentialing and onboarding items as required by the site, including background checks and fingerprints.
• Candidates must have at least two years of clinical experience within the past five years to qualify.
