We\'re seeking an experienced Legal Executive Assistant to support a senior litigation attorney at a well-established Houston law firm. This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organized legal professional who thrives in a fast-paced litigation environment and enjoys being a key partner throughout the entire litigation process—from case inception through trial. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm experience, exceptional organizational skills, and a strong understanding of civil litigation procedures. Commercial litigation experience is highly preferred. Responsibilities Provide high-level administrative and litigation support to a senior attorney. Support cases through all phases of litigation, from inception through trial. Draft, proofread, and file pleadings, motions, discovery, legal correspondence, and other court documents. Manage State and Federal e-filings, including filings with administrative agencies and the Secretary of State. Coordinate discovery, including document review, Bates labeling, indexing, and production. Conduct legal research using statutes, case law, and other legal resources. Prepare trial notebooks, exhibits, witness binders, and PowerPoint presentations. Coordinate trial logistics, courtroom technology, and attorney support during hearings, mediations, and trials. Maintain litigation calendars and monitor critical deadlines. Open new matters, coordinate conflict checks, and assist with client intake. Support billing, scheduling, client communications, and additional executive administrative responsibilities. Handle confidential information with professionalism and discretion. Qualifications 3+ years of Legal Executive Assistant experience within a law firm. 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm. Strong understanding of the litigation process from inception through trial. Civil trial experience required. Commercial litigation experience strongly preferred. Exceptional organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities. Ability to prioritize competing deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Professional, proactive, and detail-oriented with the ability to work independently. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Timeslips, and State/Federal e-filing systems. Preferred Qualifications ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate. Experience with TrialDirector, TrialPad, and NetDocuments. #J-18808-Ljbffr
