IT Support I / Help Desk Technician

We are seeking an IT Support I / Help Desk Technician to join our on-site IT team at our Corporate office in Imperial, PA. This role provides first-level technical support across multiple locations in PA, OH, VA, and FL. You’ll be the front line for IT issues—supporting users, troubleshooting hardware/software problems, and escalating issues when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for Level I IT support
• Respond promptly to help desk tickets, service requests, and incidents
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware/software issues (laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals)
• Gather and document information for ticket resolution and escalation to Level II support
• Create and maintain user accounts, including onboarding and access management
• Perform routine system maintenance and software updates
• Assist with software testing, QA, and new application rollouts
• Support small IT projects, documentation, and cross-department communication

Qualifications

• Degree and/or certification in IT, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or Computer Science
• 1–3 years of IT support or help desk experience (customer service experience a plus)
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable supporting Windows, macOS, and smartphones
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, printer setup, and basic hardware installation
• Dependable, adaptable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal communication skills
• Motivated self-starter able to manage multiple priorities
