Signature Companies is looking to add a Field Consultant to cover the Central Illinois area. Signature Companies is a high‑value insurance information provider, dedicated to superior customer service. We are seeking self‑starting, self‑motivated independent contractors (1099) who are experienced or knowledgeable in insurance adjusting, home appraisals, real estate, or construction. Candidates should possess an entrepreneurial spirit and may work in an area of their choosing. As a Field Consultant, you will schedule and conduct on‑site high‑value property surveys. Responsibilities include: Coordinate and complete surveys within your own schedule Manage work assignments you accept and ensure timely completion of web‑based reports Visit properties, take photos and measurements, and note issues that should be brought to the underwriter’s attention Drive to and conduct on‑site property surveys on high‑value homes as per customer specific guidelines and procedures Identify and document construction materials/characteristics and unique features of the home Generate an estimated replacement value of the home and identify major hazards Communicate information gathered during on‑site inspection in Loss Control 360 accessed through the Signature website Maintain a professional interaction over the phone, via email, and in‑person with homeowners and insurance agents Our experienced and dedicated Field Management team will provide mentoring and support to help you learn and excel at Signature Companies. Requirements High level of professionalism Strong oral and written communication skills Must have smartphone, tablet and personal computer (Windows-based, not a Mac) Reliable vehicle, Auto and General Liability Insurance High‑speed internet, digital camera or smartphone with 16 MP camera or greater, measuring devices such as laser, soft tape measure, or measuring wheel Experience using Rapid Sketch, Xactimate, CAD or other diagramming programs BA or BS degree desired, but not required Prior inspection experience on residential homes desirable Loss control experience desirable Prior underwriting experience desirable Construction experience desirable, but not required #J-18808-Ljbffr
