Position requirements:

1. Must live in CT.
2. Must have a certification, license, or degree in exercise science or related field .
3. Must have the dexterity, strength, agility, and stamina to perform stretch therapy.
4. Must be comfortable working closely with both male & female clients.
5. Must be available for rotating Saturday shifts

Pay: up to $30/hr ($18/hr base + $6/hr stretch bonus + commission bonus/sale)

StretchMed® New Haven is a 1-on-1 assisted stretching model that comes out of the fitness space. Our mission: Eliminate Chronic Pain, Increase Mobility, Rejuvenate, and Help People Move Well . Our proprietary stretch protocols were developed from over 50+ years of hands-on experience working with clients in fitness. Our Certified Stretch Therapists (CST™) use a combination of PNF (Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation), dynamic, and static stretching techniques and finish with percussion therapy, to accelerate and enhance tissue repair by maximizing blood flow and muscle relaxation.

Role Description:

• Details: Part-Time 12-30hrs; rotating Saturdays required, available shifts: 8am-2pm/2-8pm
• Perform Stretch Therapy w/ Clients: create confidence & trust with customers, assess & identify client needs, educate clients on proper stretch technique, promote the benefit of consistency with stretching, offer professional recommendations, build authentic relationships with members
• Contribute to Company Growth: perform sales & retention methods, market, take ownership of increasing client-base, generate leads, multiply membership base, contribute ideas for growth & retention
• Contribute to Studio Health: adhere to company values, uphold company reputation, maintain a standard of excellence, maintain professionalism, provide quality customer servicing, ensure high client satisfaction, contribute to studio culture & team synergy, admin, operational tasks, studio cleanliness, etc
• Increase Brand Visibility Locally: contribute to marketing efforts in various platforms, participation in social media engagement, content collection, pop-up events, connect with local businesses, build affiliate relationships within the community, etc

Essential Criteria:
● Certification, license, or degree in exercise science or related field
● Knowledge of fitness industry trends and best practices
● Understanding of sales strategies & customer service excellence
● Social media and technology proficiency
● Manual dexterity, agility, strength & stamina to perform stretch therapy
● Reliable transportation

License/Certification/Degree Criteria:
EITHER: Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Bio-Mechanics, Human Performance Degree, Massage Therapy License, Personal Training Certification, Physical Therapy, Corrective Exercise, Sports Medicine Degree, Yoga Certification, OR related field
