We are excited to announce that currently we are looking for a Nurse Educator to join our team of over 10,000 global field personnel supporting our pharmaceutical and biotech clients. Nurse Educator The Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) will serve as a clinical expert and educational resource on Prader-Willi Syndrome (PWS) for healthcare providers, caregivers, and patients. This role requires a highly skilled registered nurse (RN) with 3+ years of experience in endocrinology and 5+ years of overall clinical nursing experience. The CNE will provide face-to-face and virtual education, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of PWS disease state, treatment protocols, medication administration, dosing adjustments, safety considerations, and side effect management. The ideal candidate must have an active, unrestricted nursing license, be Bachelor’s or Master’s prepared and possess exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. The role requires strong adaptability, problem-solving, and a patient-centered approach, with the ability to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams. The CNE must also be compliance-driven and maintain adherence to all regulatory, confidentiality, and professional boundaries. Education / Licensure: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing (BSN/MSN). Active, unrestricted RN license in [State of Residence or Multistate Compact]. Experience: Required: 5+ years of clinical nursing experience in a patient-care setting. Required: 3+ years of endocrinology experience (preferably working with rare diseases or metabolic disorders). Preferred experience working with pediatric patients, particularly those with complex or rare conditions such as Prader-Willi Syndrome, or others. Skills & Competencies: Strong ability to communicate across diverse audiences (patients, caregivers, HCPs, and internal stakeholders). Demonstrated adaptability, problem-solving, and attention to detail. Ability to work autonomously while maintaining a collaborative approach. Compliance awareness and adherence to regulations in all engagements. Proficiency in documentation and maintaining accurate records. Strong relationship-building skills and ability to integrate into multidisciplinary teams. Role Responsibilities: Clinical Education & Training: Provide disease state education on Prader-Willi Syndrome to healthcare professionals, caregivers, and patients. Educate on treatment protocols, medication administration, dosing adjustments, and safety measures. Support the understanding of side effect management and treatment adherence. Utilize only approved educational materials and resources. Patient & Provider Engagement: Conduct face-to-face engagements with HCPs, patients, and caregivers in clinical and community settings. Build strong relationships with multidisciplinary teams, including endocrinologists, primary care providers, and specialists. Ensure educational interactions are tailored to the audience, from young patients to highly educated professionals. Compliance & Professional Standards: Adhere to relevant regulatory, compliance, and professional boundary standards. Maintain confidentiality in all interactions. Follow all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and company policies. Travel & Flexibility: Willingness to travel up to 80% of the time, with 2+ overnight stays per week on average. Adapt to various settings, audiences, and schedules to meet education and engagement needs. Collaboration & Documentation: Work closely with internal teams, HCPs, and other stakeholders to optimize patient outcomes. Maintain accurate and compliant documentation of all educational activities. Demonstrate a continuous learning mindset, staying updated on PWS advancements and treatment protocols. Professional Responsibilities: Maintain high ethical standards and act as a professional ambassador of the company and clinical nursing field. Demonstrate accountability in all interactions and decision-making processes. Exhibit professionalism in all communications, both written and verbal, with all stakeholders. Adhere to professional boundaries while maintaining compassionate and effective patient-centered engagement. Seek ongoing professional development and maintain competency in the role through continuing education. Maintain current and unencumbered RN license. Utilize feedback from professional colleagues and customers to assure information disseminated to patients and HCPs is accurate and clinically sound. Qualifications & Skills: Exhibit excellent time management and organizational skills to balance multiple priorities effectively. Foster a culture of learning and improvement within both internal teams and external stakeholders. Maintain composure and professionalism in high-pressure situations. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and professional forums as needed. Proactively identify and address challenges related to patient education and adherence. Participate in periodic team meetings, training, and performance reviews. Able to: Travel to meet the needs of the geographical territory. Provide virtual patient visits using a variety of platforms. Effectively and efficiently manage multiple tasks. Assimilate and learn new information quickly. Adapt to a variety of clinical settings: academic, private office, community and patient home. Knowledgeable of pharmaceutical industry Time Allocation: Allocates time and prioritizes accounts in territory in collaboration with Customer. Spends approximately 80% of time in the field or virtually supporting patients, 20% of time on administrative work.
