We are a bustling Manhattan family seeking a reliable and energetic babysitter to care for our two lively kids, Ella and Jack, aged 4 and 7. We live in the Upper West Side and need someone who can manage after-school pick-ups and engage the kids in fun and educational activities. Both kids love arts and crafts, outdoor play, and reading stories, so creativity is a must! You'll be an essential part of our family routine, Monday through Thursday, from 3 PM to 7 PM. The role also involves light meal preparation and helping Ella and Jack with their homework. We're looking for someone who can start immediately and develop a strong bond with our children, ensuring they have a happy and safe environment after school. Responsibilities • Pick up children from school and bring them home safely • Engage in creative and educational activities with the kids • Assist with homework and ensure tasks are completed • Prepare light meals and snacks • Maintain a tidy play area Qualifications • Prior babysitting experience with similar age groups • Strong communication skills and a warm, nurturing demeanor • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively • CPR and first-aid certification preferred • Passion for working with children and fostering their growth
