About the Role
The Company is in search of an Executive Director for Compliance Operations to lead the strategic development and implementation of a robust compliance program. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the compliance infrastructure to ensure a company-wide culture of accountability. This includes overseeing the governance of compliance policies and procedures, designing and delivering engaging compliance training programs, and conducting annual compliance risk assessments. The role also involves providing guidance on the integration of compliance controls into business practices, leading continuous improvement initiatives, and staying abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. The Executive Director will work closely with senior leadership across various functions to promote a culture of integrity, transparency, and ethical decision-making. Applicants for the Executive Director position must have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and at least 15 years' of experience in compliance, legal, or related functions within the pharmaceutical or biotech industry. The role requires a candidate with a proven track record in developing policy governance frameworks and compliance training programs, as well as strong strategic leadership, organizational awareness, and decision-making skills. Deep knowledge of healthcare compliance laws, regulations, and industry guidance is essential, along with the ability to manage high-impact compliance projects and cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will be adept at problem-solving, risk analysis, and have the ability to prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks effectively.
