• Patient Volume: 52,942
• Specialties: All major specialties available
• Coverage Model: 42 hours of physician coverage per day; 39 hours of NPPA coverage per day
• Number of Beds: 275 bed hospital; 39 ED beds
• Acuity: Level III Trauma Center
• EMR: EPIC

Qualifications

• Education: PA-C
• Licensure: Must have or be able to obtain Texas license.
• Experience: Emergency Medicine experience preferred
• Badges: ACLS and ATLS

• About CHRISTUS St. Michael Hospital - EM: CHRISTUS St. Michael is a 312-bed acute-care hospital serving the Texarkana area. Established in 1916 by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, the facility is a regional destination for a wide range of medical care. The 129-acre wooded campus includes the main hospital, as well as a 50-bed rehabilitation hospital, outpatient rehabilitation center, outpatient imaging center, and a community health and fitness center.
