Electronic Repair Technician
Location: Indianapolis, IN Job Type: Full-Time
About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electronic Repair Technician to join our team in Indianapolis. In this role, you will be responsible for the in-depth troubleshooting, diagnosis, and repair of complex electronic systems. If you excel at solving technical puzzles and have extensive experience down to the component level, we want you on our team.
Key Responsibilities
Advanced Troubleshooting: Perform complex, circuit-level diagnostics to accurately identify faults and malfunctions in electronic equipment.
Component-Level Repair: Expertly repair, solder, and replace defective micro-components on printed circuit boards (PCBs).
Technical Analysis: Read and interpret complex electronic schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Testing & Quality Assurance: Utilize advanced testing equipment (oscilloscopes, multimeters, signal generators) to verify repairs and ensure optimal functionality before returning equipment to service.
Documentation: Maintain detailed and accurate logs of all diagnostics performed, parts used, and repairs completed.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven, hands-on experience in professional electronics repair.
Technical Expertise: Must possess strong skills in circuit-level diagnostics and component-level repair (including precision soldering/de-soldering).
Equipment Proficiency: Highly proficient in using standard electronic testing and diagnostic equipment.
Skills: Exceptional analytical problem-solving abilities, fine motor skills, and a high degree of attention to detail.
