Calling All Dogs & Cats is seeking reliable, animal-loving individuals to join our team on a part-time basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working outdoors, values flexibility, and is passionate about providing high-quality care for pets.

Compensation

• Paid per visit/walk (rate based on number of visits) $18-$27 per hour plus tips

Key Responsibilities

• Walk dogs in a safe, timely, and professional manner
• Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all pets in your care
• Follow specific instructions provided by pet owners (leash handling, feeding, medications if applicable)
• Provide fresh water and basic care during visits
• Clean up after pets during walks
• Communicate updates to clients (photos, notes, or app updates if applicable)
• Report any concerns regarding pet behavior or health
• Maintain punctuality and reliability for scheduled visits

Qualifications

• Previous experience with dogs or pet care preferred
• Comfortable handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
• Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule
• Strong communication and customer service skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in pet sitting, dog walking, or animal care
• Experience administering medications (a plus, not required)

Physical Requirements

• Ability to walk multiple dogs per day in various weather conditions
• Ability to handle dogs that may pull on leash
• Ability to stand, walk, and be active for extended periods
