As a Chemistry Expert, you will play a crucial role in training next-generation AI by providing high-quality, real-world input that influences how models learn, reason, and perform. This position is perfect for professionals who excel at translating complex chemistry concepts into clear, precise explanations. Key Responsibilities

• Produce authoritative and accurate responses to advanced chemistry queries for AI model training, focusing on depth and clarity.
• Review and assess chemistry data, questions, and solutions to ensure accuracy and alignment with current best practices.
• Develop comprehensive explanations and context for a wide range of chemistry topics, including foundational and specialized domains.
• Collaborate with annotation leads and project managers to refine response requirements and quality standards.
• Create and document examples of “golden responses” to serve as benchmarks for future AI model outputs.
• Participate in occasional remote discussions or workshops to clarify project goals and ensure domain alignment.

• PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline with strong foundational and advanced subject knowledge.
• Proven ability to communicate complex chemical concepts clearly in both written and verbal forms.
• Experience producing or reviewing educational, research, or technical chemistry content (e.g., publications, curriculum, peer review, industry reports).
• Familiarity with diverse subfields of chemistry (organic, inorganic, physical, analytical, materials, etc.) and the ability to contextualize topics for various audiences.
• Attention to detail and a passion for accuracy in scientific communication.
• Prior experience in AI, data annotation, or digital content projects is a plus, but not required.
• Strong collaboration skills, particularly in remote or cross-functional project environments.

Contractor position, fully remote.

$80 - $90 per hour.

Open to candidates with a PhD in Chemistry or a closely related discipline.
