Ryder is hiring a CDL A Regional Dry Van Driver in Wilkes Barre, PA . Ryder regional driver can anticipate quality home time with family and friends while usually being home through the week and/or on weekends or a combination of both. A regional truck driving job typically consists of moving freight within a region that encompasses the surrounding areas. Compensation:

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,875+
  • Miles Pay: 71.5 CPM with 1,650 miles per week
• Additional pay:
  • Stops Pay: $24.00 per Stop with 20 Stops per Week
  • Per Diem Pay: $70.00 per night out
    • Regional nights out 2 - 3
• Bonuses

Home Time, Route & Schedule:

• Home Time: Home multiple days weekly, including weekends
  • 2-3 nights out per week
• Schedule: Monday-Friday
• Start times: 2:00 AM - 4:00 AM
• Route:  CT, MA, ME, RI, MD, VA, NY and NJ (including 5 boroughs)
  • Overnight for Route in Ryder Booked Hotel
• Touch – Hardware Products
  • Manual and Electric Pallet Jack

Equipment:

• Trucks are 36 months or newer
• Trailer Type: Dry Van, 42' - 53'
• 24/7 Roadside Maintenance and Company Drivers fuel up the trucks at over 800 Maintenance Facilities Nationwide

Qualifications

• Must have a valid CDL A License
• Minimum 21 years of age
• Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • 9 months experience within the past 3 years, OR
  • 2 years’ experience within the last 5 years, OR
  • 5 years’ experience within the last 10 years
• Hazmat - Within 90 Days of Hire
  • Ryder will Reimburse Cost and Provide Training to Obtain Endorsements
• Pass a Ryder Drug Test
• Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
• Pass a DOT physical
• Pass a Ryder road test
• Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures
• Must live within 30 miles of Wilkes Barre, PA
