Job Title: Grocery Operations Associate


Job Description:
We are enhancing our grocery experience and are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Grocery Operations Associate to join a dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accurate sourcing and purchasing of grocery items to fulfill customer orders efficiently and completely. You will also make real-time substitution decisions when necessary, always prioritizing the customer experience.


This is a remote position working Monday to Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM ET.


Key Responsibilities:

• Proactively source and purchase grocery items to fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Verify item availability and make customer-focused substitution decisions when items are out of stock
• Execute workflows to ensure high standards of quality, freshness, and accuracy in order fulfillment
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver a seamless and exceptional grocery experience
• Manage multiple orders and priorities simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
• Maintain clear and concise communication and documentation for internal processes

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• 1+ years of experience in grocery, retail, buying, merchandising, or order fulfillment
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work independently and make real-time decisions
• Excellent written communication skills
• High level of comfort with technology and digital tools

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with G-Suite and Slack
• Background in grocery buying, store operations, inventory management, or order fulfillment
