Job Description Join Our Team as a Business Systems Analyst II
Are you an experienced healthcare implementation professional seeking your next challenge? We are looking for a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst II to lead and support critical healthcare technology projects, ensuring seamless integration and operational excellence. This hybrid onsite role offers the opportunity to work with cutting-edge EMR implementations and collaborate with diverse stakeholders in a dynamic environment.
In this position, you will play a pivotal role in gathering detailed business requirements, translating them into efficient automated solutions, and guiding project teams through workflows and technical design. Your expertise will directly impact hospital and clinic operations, especially in EMR systems like Epic, Athena, and Cerner, as well as ancillary applications. Your excellent communication skills and solid healthcare implementation background will enable you to coordinate effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
Required Skills:
- Minimum 3 years healthcare provider experience (hospitals, clinics) - NOT insurance
- Proven healthcare implementation experience, especially EMR systems (Epic, Athena, Cerner)
- Ability to gather and document requirements, process flows, and produce project documentation (charters, reports, meeting minutes)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead project meetings and facilitate stakeholder engagement
- Experience with healthcare third-party applications (Sectra, Waystar, Capsule, Softbank) and ancillary systems (Lab, Pharmacy, Radiology)
- Onsite availability with one day remote work every two weeks after initial onboarding
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience with project management tools and methodologies (excluding JIRA and Confluence)
- Familiarity with workflow technical design and automation
- Prior involvement with Epic Modules and related hospital or clinic projects
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's Degree in relevant field or healthcare technology discipline
- At least 3 years of healthcare IT implementation experience
Other Requirements:
- Ability to be onsite at CHRISTUS Irving Corporate Office, with a flexible work schedule
- Valid certifications or ongoing professional development in healthcare systems (preferred)
- Must provide proof of education upon application
