Now Hiring: Business Development Manager (High Ticket Sales) | Boss Modern Gate (SoCal)

If you’re a relationship-driven closer who wants to build something from the ground up — and get paid like an owner while doing it — this is not your typical sales role.

Boss Modern Gate is modernizing a $5B+ industry with a patent-pending manufacturing process and a cutting-edge design platform that’s redefining what’s possible in custom gates and access systems.

We’re looking for a founding-level Business Development Manager to help build our go-to-market engine from day one.

Compensation: Commission Only (1099)

Typical Earnings: $100,000 – $200,000+/year

Top Performers: $215,000+/year

  • Avg unit: $15,000
  • Commission: ~$1,500 per unit (10%)
  • High performers: 12+ units/month (~$18,000/month)
  • Upsell opportunities (fencing, add-ons, etc.)
  • $500 paid training upon completion

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Building and managing partnerships with gate companies, architects, and designers
  • Driving full-cycle B2B sales (prospecting → closing → relationship management)
  • Developing a pipeline of repeat, high-value customers
  • Identifying and converting “low-hanging fruit” quickly
  • Creating visible sales activity and consistent deal flow within 30 days

Location & Schedule

  • Ventura, Malibu, Los Angeles (SoCal territory)
  • Hybrid: field + remote + occasional office time
  • Flexible schedule based on performance (KPIs-driven)

What We’re Looking For

  • 2–3+ years of B2B sales experience (required)
  • Existing network or ability to build one quickly
  • Experience closing high-ticket deals
  • Strong communicator who connects easily with high-level clients
  • Entrepreneurial mindset — wants to build, not just sell
  • Background in construction, design, or related industries is a plus
