Job Description Job Description Air Compressor Service Technician Responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on compressors and related equipment while delivering high-quality customer service and maintaining safety and reliability standards.
Key Responsibilities Perform airend rebuilds, equipment overhauls, and mechanical repairs on compressors, blowers, and vacuum pumps
Diagnose, troubleshoot, test, and repair industrial equipment
Balance rotor assemblies to specifications
Provide technical support in person and over the phone
Maintain high standards of safety, quality control, and proper use of PPE
Ensure tools and equipment are clean, calibrated, and in good working order
Complete work orders, service reports, and maintenance records accurately and on time
Maintain shop cleanliness and assist in training other technicians
Support customer satisfaction and identify sales opportunities
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications & Skills Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work independently in a team environment
Mechanical aptitude with experience using hand tools, measuring devices, and maintenance equipment
Knowledge of compressors or pneumatic systems preferred; basic electrical knowledge a plus
Ability to follow procedures with a safety-first mindset
Good analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills
Proficient with basic computer applications (Microsoft Office 365)
Valid TWIC required; willingness to obtain necessary certifications
Flexibility to work varied hours as needed
