Express Employment Professionals of Bradenton, FL is currently hiring for a 2nd Shift School Cleaning position for a School based in Palmetto, FL
Duties:
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust classrooms, hallways, offices, and other school facilities
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, sinks, toilets, and replenish supplies such as soap, toilet paper, and paper towels.
- Empty trash cans and recycling bins and ensure proper disposal of waste.
- Wipe down desks, tables, doors, windows, and high-touch surfaces to maintain hygiene standards.
- Report any safety hazards, maintenance needs, or damages to the school administration.
- Ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and stored properly.
Requirements:
- Previous cleaning or janitorial experience required.
- Knowledge of safe cleaning practices and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift/move up to 30-50 lbs.
- Must be able to go up and down stairs multiple times throughout the day
- Must be able to stand, bend, reach, pull, and crouch for 5 hours per day
- Must be able to work from 5:00 pm-10:00 pm Monday-Friday and arrive 15 minutes early
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site is required.
- Must be willing to undergo a Level 2 Background Screening and must be approved to work in a school
