The Conair Summer Internship Program is designed to provide exceptional students interested in a career in CPG with a unique opportunity to learn firsthand about the diverse business operations at Conair. Those selected will gain invaluable work experience through challenging project assignments and on the job learning experiences.


Position Summary:

The IT Web Developer Summer Intern will support Conair's Digital Commerce and IT teams by assisting with the development, maintenance, and enhancement of web and ecommerce applications. This role offers hands-on experience with modern web technologies, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, and AI-assisted development tools in a real-world enterprise environment.

The intern will work closely with senior developers and cross-functional partners on front-end development, system integrations, content creation, and basic automation initiatives. Through project-based work, the intern will gain exposure to the software development lifecycle, including coding, testing, documentation, and quality assurance, while building foundational skills in web development, digital commerce technology, and AI-enabled solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • AI Exposure: Develop foundational knowledge in Generative AI, Agentic AI, and automation engineering by supporting AI-enhanced development workflows, contributing to automated scripts and tools, and exploring emerging AI-driven patterns applicable to Digital Commerce.
  • Code Development: Collaborate with the senior Developers to write, test, and debug code for web and software applications, focusing on entry-level development tasks to enhance technical skills. Gain exposure to AI-assisted development workflows, including the use of AI assisted tools to accelerate coding and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in System Maintenance: Support routine maintenance for existing applications and systems, including troubleshooting, bug fixes, and updates. Examples include managing order flows between Salesforce Commerce Cloud and third-party systems, creating price books, handling file processes, or managing user access. Leverage automation engineering practices to streamline repetitive tasks.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Contribute to the creation of documentation for code, applications, and processes, assisting with knowledge sharing and smooth project transitions. Use AI-driven documentation tools where appropriate to improve clarity and efficiency.
  • Front-End Development and Content Styling: Engage in front-end development tasks, including user interface (UI) design and responsive web development. Gain experience with developing and styling content landing pages, integrating JavaScript, CSS, and HTML to enhance the user experience.
  • Content Creation: Use Salesforce Page Designer to create landing pages, streamline content workflows, and contribute to the efficiency of content-related tasks.
  • Code Quality Assurance: Assist in testing and troubleshooting new features to ensure proper functionality. Use tools like the web console for data verification, review logs, and document errors effectively. Apply AI-based test automation or anomaly detection tools to enhance QA efficiency
  • Collaborative Projects: Work on cross-functional projects within the IT Digital Commerce team, collaborating with agency partners, business stakeholders, and DTC team members on software development life cycle activities, fostering teamwork and professional growth.
To Qualify/Appl y:
  • You should be a current college student, entering your junior or senior year in the fall of 2026.
  • The internship program will run from June 1, 2026, through August 7, 2026. Interns will work Monday through Friday on a 37.5-hour work week schedule, which includes a 30-minute unpaid lunch break each day.
  • We require candidates to maintain excellent academic standing.
  • Demonstrated strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint, is a must.
  • As part of our hybrid work model, interns are expected to be present in the office 4 days a week with Friday being a work from anywhere day. Please note that Conair does not provide housing for summer interns.
  • Compensation for all internship positions is set at $25 per hour, and the internship is based out of our Stamford, CT corporate office location.

Environmental Factors:
  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Must be able to sit/stand for extended periods of time.
  • Must be able to use a computer keyboard and view a monitor for extended periods of time.
  • We currently operate on a hybrid schedule; candidate must be willing to come into the office 4 days a week with Friday being a work from anywhere day.
